Happy Fall!!

Fall has arrived in Indiana! Even though I am not a cold weather type of person at all Fall means hayrides, bon fires, leaves changing, Halloween, and all kinds of yummy fall food!!

We are doing all sorts of yummy Pumpkin desserts-Pumpkin bread, muffins, pies, cheesecake, and cupcakes--Hello Fall :)

Catching Up!

Wow! Where has the past 3 months gone!? I haven't blogged in 2 months so let's play catch up!

We are staying super busy with wedding season, getting new fall items out, and preparing for the holidays!

And I can say this every time but I am so blessed to have so much support from everyone around me. Still feels like a dream and I love my job more everyday :)

I have been dying to do one of these cake and it finally happened! A Mommy to be brought me an envelope with the sex of the baby written in it, I dyed the cake accordingly...and at their dinner party they cut into the cake and everyone finds out at the same time! It was so much fun to make!!

We Opened!!!

Wow! It has been so long since I have blogged and updated everything!
Fresh Baked opened on June 20th and I have been loving every minute of owning my own business. So here are some updated pictures of the completed bakery!

Smash Cakes!

There is nothing I love more about my job then seeing pictures of little kids dive into their 1 year smash cakes! It is absolutely priceless :)
First we have little Jack-I'm sure they loved cleaning all that black icing off of him from his bulldozer..

Happy Summer!

Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend! I feel like Memorial Day is the kick-off to summer which also means my bakery is almost ready. I spent the weekend making lots of cakes and of course lots of time completing Fresh Baked! Looks like we are about 2 weeks away from opening the doors!!!
The new creation of the "BK" Cupcakes-created for a friend of mine who loves Reese Cups-Chocolate Cupcake filled with peanut butter frosting, topped with peanut butter buttercream, drizzled with peanut butter and the final touch of Reese Cups!

Getting closer...

The bakery is getting closer and closer and everyday I get more excited for that opening day! In the meantime I am cranking out some major cake orders and loving every minute of this hectic schedule...
